*** FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ***
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────
(YOU:) Q: This is frequent question?
(ME:) A: And this is frequent answer :)
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Q: Why You said that VF is about 100K? It is actually
about 250K!
A: The actual size of the compiler output is about 250K,
BUT if You try to pack it with UCEXE, PkLite, etc.
the size will be redused to about 40%-50% (depending
on used utility). Now VF rounds off about 100K with
UCEXE and about 120K with PkLite.

Q: Why "ArrangeMenu/UpdateDirectory" is disabled?
A: Update directory order action is dangerous in some
cases, such as if you try to update network directory
that someone else is also using.
IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO USE "UPDATE DIRECTORY"
ONLY ON LOCAL DRIVES!
You can enable/disable it:
"O" -- options menu
"T" -- toggles
ALT+2+4+6 -- hold down ALT and enter 246 on the
numeric keypad.

Q: What is "Alt Beeep" and how can I disable it?
A: You should NOT disable alternative beeep sound
because standart one is too boring...
(...but IF you want just to check old one then
press "O"ptions, "T"oggles, ""sound change)

Q: Why "Options/Colors" is disabled? How I can
enable it?
A: Well... You cannot! Throug the time color types in
VF got fuzzy mixed up. So I have to divide them in
groups first, before enable Options/Colors.
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Q: Why VF reports more files in directories when
sizes mode is "FILES COUNT"?
A: This can happen if You are in 4DOS mode and these
dirs contain DESCRIPT.ION files. In 4DOS mode VF
hides DESCRIPT.ION files, but You'll probably need
the actual files count in calculating dirs' sizes.
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Q: What exactly means "Options/Toggles/CheckFreeSpace"?
A: If this option is set to "YES" VF will check
destination free space when copy/move before each
file. If "NO" then VF will check destination free
space only once (before start copy/move). Normally
You should leave this to "YES".
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Q: Is VF available for other operating
systems/platforms?
A: Yes. Here is some information about that:
-- Linux: Yes! -- released v0.05 (aout)
-- Sun : not yet (hope it will be ready very soon)
-- SCO : not yet (most probably soon too)
-- OS/2 : in development!
-- WinNT: in project stage...
-- Win95: actually native Win95 VF will not be
released ever, but next version of VF
will support long file names (LFNs)
